On the Cinque Terre's <span style="font-size:180%;">Via d'amore</span> (The Walk of Love) they have a section of the walk where people who are in love would put locks on a rail to symbolize how their love would never break. Do you see the lock in the forefront that reads 'Ti Amo,' it means, you guessed it, 'I love you' in Italian. An absolutely gorgeous place. I want to go back....</div>dave + kirsthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01988708056581426466noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060087179468599431.post-45464303175652878922010-01-24T18:08:00.000-08:002010-01-24T18:14:13.892-08:00that's amore<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxv54IvByw3clUwwqSIuhl8ZnGPFgRfyTOoLCZJN1KkKTD50ijXaXJHY_TjU3rNRdDkSzn0ayEphzcAO0TcKrvpTrD1x7ysF0_fu0xbGqBO8rkaWqh-9xgiJgpfZJXqAY7eLEN9XzNtt4/s1600-h/IMG_1240.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430494360243495938" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxv54IvByw3clUwwqSIuhl8ZnGPFgRfyTOoLCZJN1KkKTD50ijXaXJHY_TjU3rNRdDkSzn0ayEphzcAO0TcKrvpTrD1x7ysF0_fu0xbGqBO8rkaWqh-9xgiJgpfZJXqAY7eLEN9XzNtt4/s400/IMG_1240.JPG" border="0" /></a> I'm already getting excited for Valentine's Day! This picture was taken from a point along 'Via <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">d'amore</span>' or 'The Walk of Love.' It follows the coast for about a mile along the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Cinque</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Terre</span> and there is <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">graffiti</span> everywhere from lovers who've traversed it's path. There is only one road along the Amalfi coast and unfortunately they decided to do construction in a tunnel right after this restaurant. We got frustrated and had to turn around, luckily this beautiful, seaside, family-run restaurant was right there. They had gorgeous fresh fruit in bowls lying around by jars and jars of olive oil - so Italian and<span style="font-size:130%;"> </span><span style="font-size:180%;">so bella. </span></div>dave + kirsthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01988708056581426466noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1060087179468599431.post-39433418493324995202009-09-13T12:46:00.001-07:002009-09-13T16:31:12.398-07:00barche rossa<div align="justify"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieB_bk4iMRKgtro-ewZpNEyI8I6qDpfF1CdxdmmXNuxuTfaiOul7pVirXg-p2el-WwGCVOd3CoK9gxkSxDhxDsWQOUPMtyBJv8A_AfMKGtn2PEsKBSY-eyXN9TBKwMZ2xmlOtCLKi-2N4/s1600-h/IMG_1352.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381042595861294770" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 332px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieB_bk4iMRKgtro-ewZpNEyI8I6qDpfF1CdxdmmXNuxuTfaiOul7pVirXg-p2el-WwGCVOd3CoK9gxkSxDhxDsWQOUPMtyBJv8A_AfMKGtn2PEsKBSY-eyXN9TBKwMZ2xmlOtCLKi-2N4/s400/IMG_1352.JPG" border="0" /></a> 'Barche Rossa' is from my trip to Italy in March.
