I love these picture because they just captures the flavor of Italy. Everyone rides bikes there (which equals very few fat people incidentally), but also you can see the slew of mopeds in the background that are the most common mode of transportation. So much fun and so many memories. Love the bright colors in these pictures.

unchained melody
This is probably one of my absolute favorite pictures. On the Cinque Terre's Via d'amore (The Walk of Love) they have a section of the walk where people who are in love would put locks on a rail to symbolize how their love would never break. Do you see the lock in the forefront that reads 'Ti Amo,' it means, you guessed it, 'I love you' in Italian. An absolutely gorgeous place. I want to go back....

that's amore
I'm already getting excited for Valentine's Day! This picture was taken from a point along 'Via d'amore' or 'The Walk of Love.' It follows the coast for about a mile along the Cinque Terre and there is graffiti everywhere from lovers who've traversed it's path. Very romantic at sunset. It reminds me of the Baz Lurhman version of 'Romeo and Juliet.' Same style.

an italian breakfast
I loved eating breakfast at all the Italian hotels. Everything was so cute and quaint, they take time eating and enjoy their coffee, thick hot chocolate, bisquits and plain, gross, corn flakes ;) This shot was taken in one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily. I was trying out my new camera and some of it's fun settings.

butterfly shell
'Butterfly shell' was taken along the beach in Sicily. My hubby found it and gave it to me - what a sweetheart.
